Announcement

A lathe that has been donated to the club is being offered to club members via a silent auction.  The lathe is a Grizzly 2HP model G0462 variable speed.  It is at the clubhouse with a bid sheet attached.  Auction closes at the Feb 2018 meeting.

The Quad Cities Wood Turners Club is is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners and is composed of wood turners from the eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois area. The chapter meets for the purpose of getting to know other turners and sharing of one another's ideas. Club Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at the DeSoto Building, 2324 3rd Ave, Rock Island, Illinois. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting and check out the facility.
